Marc E. Dupre

Marc E. Dupre has fourteen years of forensic experience with the New Hampshire State Police Forensic Laboratory in Concord, New Hampshire, an American Society of Crime Lab Directors /Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) accredited laboratory, where he is currently employed as the Identification Unit and Firearms/Toolmark Unit Supervisor.  He is certified by the International Association for Identification (IAI) as a Certified Latent Print Examiner.  Additionally, he is certified by the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE) in the areas of Firearms Examination, Tool Mark Examination and Gunshot Residue/Distance Determination. 

Marc’s areas of expertise include:  Latent Impressions (finger, palm and foot friction ridge skin), Patent Blood Impression Enhancement, Firearms Testing and Evaluation, Bullet and Cartridge Case Comparisons, Tool Mark Examination and Comparisons, Shooting Scene Reconstruction, Powder and Primer Gunshot Residue, Range of Shooting Distance Determination, Obliterated Serial Number Restoration, Physical/ Fracture Match, Indented Writing Restoration, Questionable Pattern Interpretation, Drug Chemistry and Glass Examination.

He has worked over 2500 cases in his career.

Stephen H. Ostrowski

Stephen H.
